Whippet

Chihuahua (adult, from stable background)
Chihuahuas are bold, independent, and relatively self-contained. Adults from stable backgrounds manage alone time better than many small companion breeds that are bred specifically for constant human contact. Puppies and anxious individuals are a different story.
